It’s the last full day of the April 2026 residency at Vermont Studio Center. We had open studios last night, which gave me a great chance to revisit some of the artists and writers who I’ve been talking with regularly while here (I stopped into probably ten studios over the course of the month, prior to last night) and also see the studios I hadn’t visited.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here, and it was productive for me, and I am tentatively going to collaborate with one of the painters for a project in the coming months/year. Can’t spoil more than that for now, but I’m really looking forward to it.
I go home tomorrow (after assisting a couple of folks to a train station about 45 minutes away) and am going to absolutely crash for a day. But no rest for the wicked, as I’m the guest on RattleCast this coming Sunday (May 3) at 8pm ET. Then I’m featuring at the Boston Poetry Slam at the Cantab on Wednesday, May 6.
Thanks again to VSC for the time and the connections. But I have to say, it’s going to be good to be home again.
