Fantasy author Lisa Edmonds writes both the bestselling Alice Worth series (which is urban fantasy and I absolutely love it) and various other works, including some sci-fi and fantasy romance series (and some SF/F smut for those of you looking for spice). Her next book in the romantasy line is titled The Kings’ Bride, and she is using a recent poem of mine as the epigraph. I think this qualifies as the most unusual place I’ve had a poem appear yet (even counting one of my poems being on a campus bus as part of the Poetry in Motion project that we brought to Texas A&M for a year back in grad school), and I’m seriously tickled. The Kings’ Bride releases November 12, so go ahead and give it a preorder.
