The reality of death

While I was attending Slam Free or Die last night, I got word from Poets Reading the News that they were going to publish a poem I wrote about the tragic in-ring death of professional wrestler Vince Steele. And then they announced that it was live that same night. So here you go, a meditation on reality and death, filtered through a form of entertainment that is so often billed as an escape.
