A sestina I wrote in response to not just one image, but a series of photographs, by Walter Arnold just got accepted by The Ekphrastic Review and will appear there in August. Despite the fact that I’ve been doing ekphrastic pieces for a couple of decades at this point, I have to admit it’s my first appearance in that journal (which is a small joy unto itself).
