I’m the author of five short collections of poetry, known better as chapbooks. Riff Raff was published by the venerable Unicorn Press in 2007 (available here) and consists entirely of ekphrastic pieces (art based on other art). The Icarus Sketches is my half of a dual-author chapbook (with Crystal Boson) reimagining the myth of Icarus, which came out in 2010 through Seven Kitchens Press (available here). Villains appeared thanks to Finishing Line Press in 2017 (available here) and comprises 20 villanelles about villainous characters and sketchy situations. El Océano y la Serpiente / The Ccean and the Serpent was actually my first chapbook, a multilingual poetic sequence published in a limited letterpress edition by Zenane Independent Media in 2004, reprinted in a new edition by Seven Kitchens Press in 2017 (available here). Seven Kitchens also released a collection of political poems, Against Itself Cannot Stand, in 2018 (available here).
